Chocolate Cinnamon Date Balls

A super fast and easy sugar-free dessert. Store in fridge or freezer for a quick treat.

Serves: 25-30 balls
Ingredients
  • 1 cup almonds (or walnuts or pecans)
  • 1 cup medjool dates (or other large soft date), pits removed
  • ⅓ cup raw cacao powder
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp ginger
  • ⅛ tsp ground cardamom
  • ½ cup coconut flakes (optional)
Instructions
  1. Place almonds in your food processor and process until ground into small pieces.
  2. Add remaining ingredients except coconut and process until well mixed.
  3. Place coconut on a plate or in a bowl.
  4. Take ½ to 1 TBL of batter and roll it into a ball using your hands. Roll it in the coconut. Set aside.
  5. Continue until all the batter is formed into balls.
  6. Store in an air tight container in your fridge.
