Most people who WANT to change their diet and lifestyle know a good deal about what it takes. Eat right, exercise, drink water, get enough rest, etc., etc. But most people still struggle to actually do it, even though they really want to. In this video I share 5 things I’ve learned in my 65 years that have given me the power to me stick to my healthy diet and lifestyle, and how you can apply them on your Whole & Healthy journey.
I’ve found for myself and for my clients, that the answer isn’t having enough or the “right” information. Yes, the Mind Food, (information, skills, techniques) are important, but for most of the people I work with, they know WHAT to do. They may even know HOW to do it. But still the stresses and commitments of daily life, and the non-vegan, unhealthy norm of the world we live in, can easily through us off track.
These 5 mindset shifts are the Spirit Food that has helped me take charge of my life, rather than having life be in charge of me. This healing, this harmony, this wholeness has made it possible for me to stick to my vegan diet and Whole & Healthy lifestyle regardless of what is going on around me. Even through the hardest times.
The path to your success is connecting to your inner source of power, or your inner compass, so that you can be in charge of your life rather than having life be in charge of you. This is what I call Spirit Food.
From this place you can be more aware of why you are eating and behaving the way that you are. Why you are spinning your wheels or putting your needs last.
From this place you can learn to take control of your eating habits, say ‘no’ when necessary, and most of all trust in yourself.
These 5 things are what has helped me to: 1) stay positive and focused on feeling good; 2) trust that I can find the best answers for myself; 3) have faith and be patient with the unfolding; 4) have the courage to step into the unknown; and 5) tap into my most powerful source of guidance.

Ama, that was really good! People need to hear that. I was just talking to someone about another aspect of living life well – FORGIVENESS!! As we mature, we must learn to forgive the pains and people of yesterday. We spend so much of our lives trying to undo what happened while we were younger. Unforgiveness stops us from living our best lives. It’s a poison we take expecting the other person to be effected. Forgiveness is to help you shed the bad past hurts and thank God that you are still here “in spite of.” Thank you for helping your followers to “Live their best lives!”
