Drinking water is important for kidney function, relief of arthritis pain, and for the proper functioning of all of your body systems. How much water should you drink? You have probably heard you should drink 8 glasses a day. How much you should drink depends on your body size, activity level, and the temperature of the day.
First, drink enough so that you urinate at least 6 times a day. Drink enough water so that your urine is almost colorless. Dark urine is a sign of dehydration.
