While I was at my meditation course I had a delicious dressing on my salad every day. This is my version.
Use as a dip as well. For a thicker version reduce the water a bit.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup sunflower seeds
- 2 TBL raw tahini
- 1 cup water
- 3 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 1 tbsp nama shoyu, or tamari
- 1 tbsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp mirin
- 1 garlic clove
Place all ingredients in a high-speed blender and blend until very smooth.
Store in an air tight container in your refrigerator.

Which sprouts have the most value?
Broccoli sprouts are my favorite. Just keep your intake below four cups per day.

Best is if you grow your own sprouts, which is incredibly easy to do on your kitchen counter top. broccoli seeds are available sometimes at Sevananda. alfalfa sprouts are getting a bad name commercially since some have been found contaminated.
