Vegan For The Holiday

The holidays are often a difficult time for folks, whether you are new to the plant-based lifestyle or have been vegan or  plant-based for years.  Family traditions, pressure from others, favorite foods can all lead to falling off the wagon. But you CAN enjoy the holidays AND stay true to your commitments to yourself. In this video originally posted in 2019 from a Facebook Live, I share three steps to to get prepared so that you can honor your traditions and stick to your commitment to eat and be healthy no matter if you celebrate Thanksgiving, Christmas, Kwanzaa or some other holiday.

Back in 2007 I was only one month into being vegan when Thanksgiving rolled around. It WAS a struggle. I felt left out, deprived, and everyone wanted to scrutinize what I was doing and why. It isn’t an problem anymore. They are used to me now, and I know JUST what to do to make sure my needs are met too.

No matter what holiday you celebrate these tips will help you be prepared so you don’t end up having a bad experience.

I want you to succeed. That’s why I created a three session Vegan For The Holidays coaching program. During our time together you’ll develop vital skills that you’ll be able to use all year long and in any situation to make sure you can Thrive While Vegan while living in the real world.

This will be a highly customized experience based on your personal situation. For example: We can help you plan a menu to please everyone in attendance. We can focus on your travel plans. We can look for ways to adjust your family traditions to accommodate your needs as well.
