Loving Yourself is key to your wellness journey because it gives you the power to stay true to your convictions and stick to your healthy diet and lifestyle. In this video I share why self love is important, why we may feel like we are not “enough,” and how to nurture and deepen our appreciation and love of ourselves.
Of course you love yourself. But I bet you may also have feelings of not being enough. Deep down inside there may be some self doubt. A voice that says you aren’t _____ enough. These feelings and beliefs can be what makes it difficult to stick to your convictions to eat right. To give yourself the time and space to do for yourself.
We feel we have to take care of everyone else. Or we won’t “fit in.” Somewhere deep inside we feel we will be rejected. Or we can’t trust others. Or that our needs don’t matter.
By deepening our love and acceptance of who we are, JUST as we are can give us the power and freedom to put our own needs higher on the priority list. Yes, of course we can still be there for our family and others. But we also make sure we are there for ourselves.
