How To Use Journaling To Help You Reach Your Diet And Lifestyle Goals

I have long recommended keeping a journal to help my clients reach their plant-based diet, weight loss and lifestyle goals. It’s often the thing that can make or break their success. When you are trying to lose weight or improve your health, or just look and feel your best, your journal can give you the insights you need to understand your challenges. It will help you plan for success. And it can help keep you accountable to yourself.

I used to struggle to keep a journal consistently, or to know just what to write. Since I’ve been using the Bullet Journal system for my journaling and it has really helped me stick to my journal and to make consistent improvements in my daily healthy habits and lifestyle choices. It’s also helped me stay on top of all aspects of my life, my businesses, my plans, and more.

One of the most powerful parts of my journal is the Habit Tracker. It has helped me consistently do what I want to do on a daily basis. I track my exercising, meditating, practicing my Swahili and more. It’s been the best thing for keeping me accountable by helping see the patterns. There have been many days that noticing I’ve missed one or two things has inspired me to go ahead and do them so I can see a fully checked off tracker.
