What Wellness Isn’t

The wellness industry is BIG business. There is an ever growing selection of supplements, super foods, special diets, fancy tools, complicated systems that promise to promote wellness. This is what wellness isn’t! Wellness is your own hands when you align your life with nature and how we are designed to live.

It isn’t about supplements.

It isn’t about fancy diets.

It isn’t about getting to a certain number on the scale.

It isn’t about killing yourself at the gym.

It isn’t about downloading some mindfulness app.

It isn’t about “hacking” a meditation method so you can squeeze into you way too busy life.

Wellness is not a quick fix.

Wellness is about avoiding the toxic foods, people, energies, environments, etc. and aligning yourself and your lifestyle with how we are meant to live, in harmony with nature and the divine and our true selves.

  1. Very good!! Ama, you are right. There is a misconception regarding wellness and how to obtain it. Thank you for your encouragement to do the right thing to become healthy body, soul and mind. This year I will be prioritizing my health as the most important goal to obtain.I want to be healthy in all areas of my life. That can sometimes mean removing all toxins from my life whether it is food, thought patterns or people. They all most go. My goal….DO YOU IN 2022!!

Wellness IS NOT about comparing yourself to paid promoters of quick fixes. Wellness is about giving yourself the love and grace to make intentional improvements to your nutritional. physical and mental well being. It is your journey and no one else’s.
