The Big Lie About The Power Of Diet And Your Health

It’s all a big lie! It really bothers me when I come across videos, articles, or other content related to health, wellness, medication, and doctors that are full of lies and misinformation. It’s no wonder we’re confused. It’s no wonder so many people feel hopeless and powerless.

I often hear statements about the impact of diet and lifestyle on heath in like “there isn’t enough research yet” or “it’s in your genes” or “once you have this disease, you’ll have it for life.” It’s all a big lie.

In truth, there has been plenty of research for decades showing that animal products and the standard modern diet and lifestyle are at the root of our health problems.

For example, research has shown that people who eat primarily or completely plant-based diets have lower rates of heart disease, cancer, diabetes, and other illnesses that disproportionately affect Black people.

We don’t have to be sick, but the medical, pharmaceutical, and food industries don’t want you to know that. They continue to spread confusion and misinformation about the healing power of plant-based diets making it seem like the vegan diet is lacking in some way. They claim that you have to be careful about getting enough protein or you need to be taking supplements if you eat a vegan diet (while ignoring the PROVEN problems with the Standard Modern Diet). These claims are all bullshit.

However, the truth is that the standard American diet is what is causing so many health problems. If you want to see the power of a plant-based diet check out Nutrition Facts, or Physicians Committee For Responsible Medicine or read the books by T. Colin Campbell such as The China Study. Their work is based on studies that are not financed by the very industries that have an interest in keeping us confused. Of course you STILL need to use your own discernment.

Fortunately, there are many physicians, nutritionists, and wellness practitioners who know the truth and are spreading it. However, their voices are few and far between in the public discourse, and they don’t have the same financial power as the food industry, for example, which is why the USDA recommends the unhealthy food pyramid or plate.

The pharmaceutical industry is also responsible for promoting harmful, useless medications on TV. They show happy, healthy people in their ads, (presumably due to the drugs they are taking) but the disclaimers at the end warn of potential side effects like death, depression, or kidney failure. And studies show that the real positive impact of many of these drugs is minimal. It’s all crazy and it’s all bullshit.

The truth is that we need to stop eating unhealthy foods and living unhealthy lifestyles.

We’ve been convinced that we’re sacrificing something if we give up animal products and other unhealthy foods. We’re bombarded with commercials showing delicious-looking foods that are actually making us sick. This propaganda has to stop. We need to take control of our health and well-being.

It can be hard to make the change, but it’s worth it.

I invite you to try an experiment: go vegan for one month. One month without meat. One month without chicken. One month without fish. And one month without milk, eggs, dairy or anything else that comes from animals. See how you feel and monitor your health.

Instead you want to fill your body with wonderful colorful natural clean organic food. Food that’s going to allow your body to heal and be at its full potential. Where your body is working, your mind is working, and your heart is working and you are connected to everything on earth.

We need to do this, so that we no longer fall victim to the selfish and evil state of this capitalistic world that we live in that doesn’t give a shit about us as people. They only want to make money, I refuse to be a part of it. How about you?

It’s time to be an example of a different way of living, for our families and communities, that there’s a better way. We need to break the cycle of oppression and control, and take control of our health and well-being.
